TABS-METAL
Different coefficient of expansion under influence of temperature and shrinkage make the ceramic-metal tabs are not as effective. But they are cheaper.
INLAYS UNDER A CROWN
This is a special kind of tabs. Their function is not just to restore badly damaged tooth, but also to provide a solid Foundation for a crown. This requires increased strength and reliability. That is why this tab is made from metal. It is set in the cavity of the tooth, then the doctor makes a mold and sends it to dental technicians. This method is relevant if the tooth is destroyed almost completely.
WHEN IT IS BETTER TO PREFER THE TAB?
All the parameters of the inlays better seals. It is a fact. Perhaps, only in one case it is more logical to use a seal if a damaged baby tooth. Restore it by filling reasonable even for reasons of lower cost.
CARE RULES
Teeth restored using tabs, do not require any special care. Sufficient to comply with the ordinary requirements of hygiene – brush your teeth regularly and thoroughly.
