Lopirel or Cardiomagnyl, drug choice

To prevent the formation of blood clots after an ischemic stroke or acute myocardial infarction, you can take any remedy, since they are equally effective in these cases.

Cardiomagnyl is recommended to be used to prevent the development of cardiovascular pathologies in the presence of risk factors. It must also be taken after surgery on the heart and blood vessels to prevent thrombosis.

In acute coronary syndrome (with or without ST segment elevation), “Lopirel” is prescribed, and with already diagnosed unstable angina, “Cardiomagnyl”.

If a patient suffers from an “aspirin triad” – has aspirin intolerance, bronchial asthma or polyps in the nasal cavity, then “Cardiomagnyl” is contraindicated because it contains acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). In this case, only Lopirel will do.

If a person has lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or a lactase deficiency, then the second remedy is suitable, since it does not contain lactose in the composition (unlike Lopirel).

When taking or injecting methotrexate, only Lopirel is suitable for patients.

It must be remembered that only the attending specialist should prescribe the medication. Self-medication can lead to complications and side effects, in severe cases a fatal outcome is possible.

With serious pathologies of the cardiovascular system and a tendency to form blood clots, it is necessary to take special medications. It is very important to choose the right medicine so as not to cause complications and side effects.

Lopirel

An antiplatelet drug that prevents the connection of platelets and the formation of blood clots. Contributes to the expansion of blood vessels.

Comparison

These funds have completely different active components, but have a similar effect. They interfere with platelet aggregation (clumping) and thrombosis.

“Lopirel” and “Cardiomagnyl” are used to prevent thrombosis in heart attacks, ischemic strokes and other cardiovascular pathologies. These funds are not independent medicines – they do not cure diseases, but contribute to their prevention.

The release form of both drugs is tablets. As for the cost, 28 Lopirela tablets cost between 700-715 rubles, and 30 Cardiomagnyl tablets cost 200-250 rubles. Such a low price of the second medicine is due to the fact that it is produced in Russia, and Lopirel has overseas production.

“Cardiomagnyl” has not only antiplatelet effect, but also antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Therefore, it is used for pain in the heart (angina pectoris).

“Lopirel” helps to dilate blood vessels and improve blood circulation in peripheral vessels. Also, this tool is used to prevent the formation of blood clots in diseases of the vessels of the limbs.
If you compare the contraindications, then the drugs they largely converge. Neither one nor the other remedy can be taken with a tendency to bleeding and conditions that contribute to their development, with any type of bleeding, and bleeding disorders. Also, they can not be used during pregnancy and lactation and persons under 18 years of age.

An important feature of Cardiomagnyl is an over-the-counter form of tempering. However, this does not mean that it can be used without the appointment of a specialist.
