Woman, says she is more confident than ever after having her painful 32G breasts reduced

A woman has opened up about having her painfully large 32G breasts reduced to a 32DD after years of feeling uncomfortable in her clothes and around her guy friends — but men online insist she made a ‘tragic’ mistake.

Melody Hernandez, 20, from Texas, was in pain every day as a result of her disproportionately large chest and struggled to find suitable clothes when she decided to undergo breast reduction surgery in March of this year.

‘I always felt insecure because I never liked how my clothes would appear on me,’ she told Need To Know, saying people’s eyes would often drift down to her chest.

‘It just made me uncomfortable most of the time. They definitely affected my self-esteem as well,’ she continued. ‘With nothing ever fitting me right, I never had motivation to dress the way I wanted to because of that.’

The full-time student said she had to size up when buying clothes and her breasts stretched out her tops to the point that she couldn’t see the outline of her body.

Melody added that her heavy breasts caused constant back pain and left her with marks on her shoulder from where her bra straps would dig into her skin.

‘It was so painful whenever it was the end of the way and I was done wearing my bra,’ she said. ‘It felt like someone had punched my chest, I also would catch myself slouching all of the time, which would hurt my upper back.

‘The straps to hold them up would also leave burn marks on my shoulders because of how tight it had to be.’

Melody also had to examine her relationship with some of her male friends who made her feel uncomfortable about the size of her chest.

‘I have been told by friends that my supposed guy friends had told them things about my breast size,’ she said.

‘I would even catch some of my guy “friends” hugging me tight when I’d say bye to them. I felt it was very off-putting and made me not want to be in contact with them.’

Melody was put on a waiting list for breast reduction in June 2021, and she went under the knife nine months later.

The surgery originally cost around $8,500, but her health insurance covered most of it because of the size of her 32G breasts in comparison to the rest of her body.

One online troll said her breasts were ‘so perfect before,’ while another called her breast reduction surgery ‘sad and tragic’

She only had to pay $1,000 out of pocket for the life-changing procedure.

‘Now, because I had the surgery, I feel so much more confident with how my clothes fit me, and I feel like they aren’t something that instantly catches someone’s attention,’ she said.

‘Noooo they were so perfect before,’ one person wrote.

‘Now, because I had the surgery, I feel so much more confident with how my clothes fit me, and I feel like they aren’t something that instantly catches someone’s attention,’ she said

‘It’s just so sad and tragic,’ another added.

Melody claimed that she has also had men message her directly about the surgery to ask why she had her breasts reduced, telling her they ‘looked just fine.’

However, it’s been six months since she had the surgery, and she couldn’t be happier with the results, despite the comments she has received from online trolls.

‘I am now able to properly fit in clothes I want to wear without having to upsize them,’ she said. ‘I am also able to wear clothing styles I wasn’t able to wear before such as sportswear and cropped clothes.

‘I also do not slouch as much or feel pain because of how heavy they were before,’ she added. ‘Despite it being quite painful, it was so worth it in the end.’
