Amelotex and Diclofenac, the choice of drug

Both NSAIDs are significantly effective, which is undeniable and beyond doubt. Confirmation of this, scientific research and evidence of scientists. The first, less toxic to the gastrointestinal tract (even with prolonged use), in most cases a smaller amount of tablets is acceptable (1 time per day), scientists say about its more pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.

Competitors anesthetize approximately the same. Each case and the patient needs a personal approach, taking into account the disease, the accompanying pathologies of the patient, his age, negative effects and limitations. In this regard, the final decision, what is better to prescribe, should remain with the doctor and his competence.

Each of us at least once in our life felt pain, varying in strength and character. It exposes a person to a sense of discomfort in social and labor activities.

Currently, medicine does not stand still. To relieve pain, mainly prescribed drugs that have an analgesic effect, namely NSAIDs. These are Amelotex and Diclofenac. These medications have a depressing effect on the eyes of pain with inflammation of the nerve endings, rheumatic symptoms, diseases of the joints and the musculoskeletal system of a person in general. Positive and negative properties of their effects are observed.

The need to take an anti-inflammatory drug over a long period of time, with the exception of various kinds of side effects, at one time led to the invention of the drug Amelotex. It belongs to the group of selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and is the commercial name for meloxicam, a substance of the oxycam group, an enolic acid derivative.

Dosage form:

  1. Solution in ampoules, used for injections.
  2. Gel for external use.
  3. Tablet form.
  4. Suppositories.

The undoubted advantage is that the use of the drug does not depend on meals, does not affect the absorption and effectiveness.

4-5 hours after use, reaches a maximum in the blood. When injected intramuscularly, the effect of analgesia comes within one hour. It is permissible to use the drug in complex treatment for inflammation of the musculoskeletal system, since meloxicam has only a symptomatic effect. The claimed drug does not affect the chondrocytes of cartilage. High binding to blood proteins. Metabolized to four inactive products, as a result, is excreted from the body through the kidneys and intestines (partially). Portability is excellent.

The analogs of Amelotex tablets are Aspikam, Meloxicam, Existen, Movalis, Mirlox, Zeloxim.

Action “Diclofenac”

Diclofenac contains the same substance, a derivative of phenylacetic acid. The acidity of the drug is less than that of drugs with meloxicam, which also contain lactose, which is contraindicated for allergy sufferers. “Diclofenac” disrupts the synthesis of metabolites with a pronounced pro-inflammatory effect, the enzymes are inhibited by cyclooxygenase 1 and 2.

Pharmaceutical companies produce the drug in the form of: tablets, suppositories, gels, ointments and injectable solutions in different dosages.

With injections, the intramuscular action occurs within half an hour. The effect of Diclofenac in the form of tablets is also quite effective. When ingested, the boundary level in the blood is reached after 2 hours, but with meals, absorption slows down. It enters the synovial fluid and affects the cartilage, stopping the proteoglycan biosynthesis by chondrocytes. The body does not get used to it, but the medical effect is slightly worse than meloxican-containing drugs. Restrictions on the use of this drug: for intestinal and renal diseases, liver diseases, stomach ulcers, for pregnant women and when breastfeeding infants.

“Voltaren”, “Argette”, “Ortophen”, “Remetan”, “Feloran”, “Rapten”, “Diklak”, “Diklomaks” are analogues of “Diclofenac”.
