Both products contain ethinyl estradiol, an artificial analogue of the female hormone estrogen. The other components are different – Belara also contains chlormadinone acetate, and Yarina – drospirenone.
Both drugs prevent pregnancy by inhibiting the synthesis of sex hormones and thickening the mucus of the cervical canal. They also contribute to the normalization of the menstrual cycle and reduce the risk of anemia. Yarina additionally treats acne and normalizes the lipid profile, increases the level of HDL. Also, according to some reports, drospirenone, which is part of Yarina, reduces the risk of ovarian cancer and endometrial cancer.
If you compare the contraindications, then these funds are similar, but Belara has a lot more, and therefore this drug is suitable only for a few women. A greater number of contraindications is associated with the content of chlormadinone acetate.
Thus, we can say that the hormonal contraceptive Yarin is better – it has fewer contraindications and has an additional therapeutic effect (treats acne and seborrhea, prevents the development of cancer, prevents fluid retention in the body). However, it must be remembered that hormonal drugs can not be taken on their own, as this is fraught with serious complications and side effects. And if the doctor specifically prescribed Belarus, then it can not be replaced with analogues.

Belara

Yarina
Hormonal contraceptive drug with antiandrogenic and antimineralocorticosteroid actions. Reduces the synthesis of gonadotropic pituitary hormones and the rate of maturation of follicles, prevents the onset of ovulation. It promotes the thickening of cervical mucus, which makes it difficult for sperm to enter the uterine cavity.
Drospirenone, which is part of the drug, prevents weight gain and edema associated with fluid and sodium retention in the body.
Long-term use of Yarina helps normalize the menstrual cycle, reduce the frequency of painful menstruation, and reduce the intensity of menstrual bleeding, which reduces the risk of anemia.
