How to make morning better

The key to a good day is an unhurried awakening, a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to find at least 10 minutes to “be alone with yourself” or to meditate.

And also, according to the yogis, these are special rituals that improve your well-being and increase your immunity. We will talk about them now.

These rituals have an ancient history and are quite specific. But it is they, according to Ayurveda, that contribute to the purification of the body and clarity of mind. Try everything, or at least one, and then, according to your own feelings, decide whether they suit you personally or not.

Ritual No. 1: Easy breathing

This procedure has a very beautiful name – Jala Neti, from the name of a special Indian teapot. It is based on rinsing the nasopharynx with water. The procedure goes like this: you close one nostril, and the other draw in water so that it starts to flow out through the mouth. Then the same thing is done with the other nostril.

Ritual No. 2: A Clear Look

The procedure is as simple as possible: you just need to type clean cold water in your palm and rinse your eyes with it. So you get rid of toxins and moisturize your eyes. The ritual is simply a must for those who spend a lot of time in front of screens – a TV, computer, phone.

Ritual number 3: Exact taste

Using a tablespoon or a toothbrush with a special surface, thoroughly get rid of plaque in the tongue (if you do not do this regularly while brushing your teeth). Do not swallow the coating itself, but rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out. The result of the procedure is less bacteria in the mouth, which means you will be less sick (goodbye, tonsillitis!) And it is better to feel the real, pure taste of the products.

Ritual No. 4: Flexible body

Immediately after a thorough cleansing of the body, it is time to stretch it. Perform a small yoga complex, starting from how much time you have available. And be sure to include Surya Namaskar in it – this is a classic of yoga! They say that experienced practitioners can perform it in a circle up to 100 times. Do not pursue such results: for a start, 5-10 laps will be enough.

Ritual number 5: Clean body

After yoga, take a shower. Water will wash away fatigue, stress and negativity, which accumulate not only in our bodies, but also in our heads. On weekends, you can even afford an oil bath – this is ideal.

These five rituals will cleanse your soul and body, preparing for the new day and filling with energy. They will also help you feel like a blank sheet – forget about yesterday’s remorse about eating chocolate, about lower back pain due to a sedentary lifestyle and about red eyes due to working at a computer.
