Excipients of tablets do not affect the medicinal properties of muscle relaxant. The drug is sold in cardboard boxes with 3 blisters of 10 tablets.

Kalmirex

The release of Kalmirex ampoules is made of 5 pieces per pack. The implementation includes cardboard boxes with 1 or 2 packages of ampoules enclosed, instructions for use. One Kalmyrex ampoule contains 100 mg / ml tolperisone hydrochloride and 2.5 mg / ml lidocaine hydrochloride. A solution with an appropriate odor, clear, colorless.

The similarity and difference in the use of muscle relaxants

Medicines Midokalm and Kalmireks are identical in composition and concentration of the active substance – tolperisone. In tablets, this component is 50 mg and 150 mg. Ampoules for injection contain 100 mg / ml of tolperisone hydrochloride. For pain relief by injection, lidocaine hydrochloride 2.5 mg / ml was added to the ampoules.

Excipients used in the composition of preparations for shaping and preservation are different. But this difference does not change the basic properties of drugs when used. The exception is individual patient intolerance to auxiliary components.

Hungarian Midokalm has been used for treatment as a myolaxing, membrane-stabilizing, local anesthetic agent for more than 50 years. For such a long period, the drug passed a natural test, its weaknesses, strengths were revealed. Therefore, comparing with the Russian Kalmireks, the scope of application of Midokalm is expanded by the manufacturer.

It is allowed to use a Hungarian preparation in tablet form for the treatment of children from 3 years old. If absolutely necessary, the doctor may prescribe this medicine for a one-year-old child. Midokalm injections are contraindicated in children. Treatment of pregnant women is allowed in cases where the benefit significantly exceeds the perceived risks. Only a doctor can decide whether to prescribe a muscle relaxant or not.

The dose of medicine for children is calculated as follows:

  1. A child from 1 year to 6 years is prescribed 4-5 mg / kg of body weight.
