This Korean acne scar-healing serum is so popular that makers have had to limit people’s orders

Thankfully, there’s a new treatment within our sights that acne sufferers are hailing as a miracle-worker for clearing their long-lasting scars in a jiffy.

Arguably the only thing worse that an angry breakout is the acne scarring that follows. No matter how carefully we stick to our restorative skincare routines, some spots can leave lingering, unsightly scars that can take years to fade from view.

Created by Korean skincare brand, Slurp, Niacid is a clear-coloured vitamin oil developed specifically to heal scar-damaged skin.

Formulated with vitamin B3 and tranexamic acid, the serum works to cure “inflammatory trauma” by raising skin indentations caused by acne and other atopic disorders.

Other key ingredients come in the form of medicinal herbs, scutellaria root and galactomyces, which deliver nutrients to the skin, while sodium hyaluronate hydrates and strengthens the skin’s moisture barrier.

The multi-tasking serum also regulates sebum production, minimises pores, and gently exfoliates the skin to refine skin tone and prompt the growth of new cells.

The cult product has proved so popular that Slurp have actually limited purchases to two bottles per order.

“My skin tone has never looked this even and bright and I can see my acne scars healing significantly and much speedier than before which I am so excited for in weeks to come,” one fan commented online.

“Love love love Niacid!,” another enthused. “The next morning my skin looked the brightest it has ever been and I kid you not my red marks faded by I would say 80%.”

Users are advised to add to apply three to five drops after cleansing the skin, using a gentle pressing technique to distribute the oil evenly across the face.

As the serum contains acid, it’s also vital to wear SPF 50+ sunscreen to ensure skin is sufficiently protected in the sun.

Niacid is available to pre-order now, and will become available on 26 April to buy online. Here are some other brilliant acne-busting treatments…
