Caesarean section is a serious abdominal operation, the result of which is the motherhood of the woman in childbirth. However, if the first operation is less problematic, then subsequent ones can cause irreparable harm to the health of both the woman herself and her child.

Even a specialist, obstetrician-gynecologist, and practicing surgeon cannot give a definite answer to this question. However, if a woman gave birth twice as quickly, then a third cesarean section is a risk that a woman should be aware of.
Is a third pregnancy possible after a second cesarean?
First of all, the threat is connected with the fact that it is simply impossible to suture any tissue, and scars, especially in the uterine cavity, change its shape.
Surgeons can provide a list of complications that are possible with a third time cesarean section:
- pelvic deformity,
- unstoppable or uncontrolled bleeding,
- bladder or intestinal injury
- perforation or displacement of nearby organs.
Often there is the formation of adhesions in the scarring area, which can lead to inflammatory processes, unpleasant pulling sensations.
Of course, few women can predict the onset of pregnancy, but if a woman has already had two abdominal operations, then the third cesarean in a year is very dangerous. A fresh scar on the uterus can behave in the most unpredictable way.
In addition, in the case of a third pregnancy, there is a high risk of labor pain much earlier than expected. In this case, specialists have to do an emergency third cesarean section, the consequences of which can be unpredictable. Doctors urge you to plan your next pregnancy no sooner than two years later. However, it is not worth delaying this, since after five years after the last pregnancy, the woman’s body will already be much worse prepared for carrying it.
Is third cesarean dangerous?
Undoubtedly, it will be more difficult than the first and second. It is advisable to prepare for it in advance and comply with all the recommendations of the doctor conducting the pregnancy. So you can avoid many problems, including premature birth, anemia.
The third cesarean section has a longer and more difficult rehabilitation period. Firstly, this may be due to the age of the woman in childbirth, since many women become pregnant a third time after 35 years, and, accordingly, a caesarean section 3 times occurs when a certain age stage occurs.
If the age of the woman in childbirth is more than forty years, then in this case, doctors at the stage of pregnancy management treat the patient more carefully. In fact, with a good physical condition of a woman, as well as a short period from previous pregnancy and childbirth, 3 cesarean section at 40 years of age does not differ much from its conduct in younger patients.
