Nise or Nurofen, which is more effective

It is impossible to say unequivocally which of the drugs is better. This can only be determined by a specialist, based on the characteristics of the patient.

Both drugs belong to the same pharmacological group. However, the active substance is different for them, as well as the mechanism of action. Nurofen helps with moderate pain and acts directly on the focus. Nise is able to eliminate strong and intense pain, however, he copes with inflammatory processes not so effectively.

Both drugs have a depressing effect on the gastrointestinal tract, so they can not be taken for a long time. Also, drugs can not be taken at the same time, as this can worsen the patient’s condition.

Unlike Nise, Nurofen has a large number of analogues available that are well tolerated by patients. Nurofen also has childhood forms, due to which the drug can be prescribed even to babies. Nise can only be used for children over 12 years old.

In all cases of toothache, Nurofen is most effective. And if it’s easy for adults to find a replacement, then teething children save syrup and suppositories.

Nise effectively copes with symptoms of joint diseases. When it is taken, morning stiffness and pain are reduced.

From this we can conclude that with intense pain it is better to use Nise. With moderate pain, as well as children, Nurofen is suitable.

Thus, it is not possible to say specifically which drug is better. Everyone has positive and negative points. The choice of drug should be carried out by the doctor individually for each patient, based on the clinical picture. Do not self-medicate, as long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can lead to a deterioration in the patient’s condition.
