Fighting spring colds

You can prepare a mixture of dried apricots, cranberries, walnuts, lemon, raisins. The above products in equal proportions need to grind and mix. Then put this mass in a container and pour honey at the rate of two hundred grams per liter jar.

Eat right

Proper nutrition is the best way to provide the body with vitamins. Finding vitamins in natural products in spring is quite difficult, but still possible. First of all, pay attention to the germinated wheat grain. Eat it for 3 tbsp. in a day.

Use spices. This is a source of vitamins: add them to the food by a pinch three times a day. Moreover, it is better to add spices already to the finished dish – with heat treatment, the beneficial properties are reduced.

Turmeric is ideal for breakfast, since it also has a choleretic effect; in lunch, ginger or cardamom, they improve brain activity, for dinner, mint and lemon balm, they soothe. In addition, spices provoke the production of endorphin – a hormone of good mood!

Wash your hands more often

It is very important to wash your hands several times a day, especially after going to the toilet and before eating. You can also carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you to regularly clean your hands of germs, especially when traveling on public transport and working at the table.

Do not bite your nails

Biting your nails is not only ugly, but also harmful to health. Your nails are a breeding ground for germs, so the more you bite them, the more chances you have of developing an infection or flu. Use special varnishes, and wear warm gloves outside to warm you up to resist harmful motivation.

Wear a scarf

The first warming is deceptive, which means that you should not rush to throw off the scarf and hat. In addition, we all know that buses, trains and other crowded places are teeming with germs, but what may surprise you is that a daily accessory can do you a great service. Wearing a scarf not only protects from the wind, but also helps prevent the inhalation of infectious microbes.

Drink juices

A course of spring juice therapy will have a beneficial effect on immunity: drink any freshly squeezed red juice (beetroot, carrot, cherry, blackberry, strawberry, grape, pomegranate, cranberry) for three weeks. In the first week, take half a glass of juice 3 times a day, in the second – 2 times a day, in the third – 1 time in between meals. After 10 days, the course can be repeated.

Cut down on alcohol

The more you drink, the weaker your immune system becomes, which means you will often get colds and flu. Doctors advise cutting back on alcohol to keep fit. Of course, it is not so easy to give up alcoholic cocktails, but it’s worth it if you want to spend this spring in good shape.

Do not smoke

Smoke paralyzes cilia, hair-like cells that line the nose and airways that sweep incoming viruses before they can infect you. If you smoke, you give the virus free access to enter the body and harm you.

Learn self-massage

Similar procedures give good results if they are performed regularly and correctly. By acting on the biologically active points of the hands and feet, you activate the body’s defense. Buy a massage bath mat. Exercise just a few minutes while brushing your teeth.

Go in for sports

Exercise improves the activity of your white blood cells (those that help fight infections). Therefore, make sure that you perform at least 30 minutes of exercise three times a week to keep your body in good shape.

Get enough sleep

Regular lack of sleep affects the body’s immune system in the same way as physical stress. The immune system begins to work in an overactive mode, while producing an excess of white blood cells. This hyperactivity is the result of frequent sleepless nights.

Visit the bathhouse or sauna

People who regularly visit the sauna are less likely to suffer from headaches, rhinitis and pharyngitis, they are practically not bothered by a runny nose. This is quite natural, because nothing trains the body like alternating high and low temperatures. Due to a sharp change in temperature, intense stimulation of the nervous and cardiovascular systems occurs. And the use of special essential oils in the sauna helps to saturate the body with useful substances.

These simple preventative actions will help you meet a spring full of strength and health!
